The Maxi Bar is on the main street of Trecco bay, you walk in to a barn of a building, bar on the left, plastic seating on the right disappearing into the distance is the childrens play/death area. Littered with childrens toys and casualties.
Straight through is a pleasant enough balcony area and a selection of fun/death areas for kids.
Awful service and a scary place, had a derelict science fiction feel to it, the fact it was populated by aliens and their kids(?) probably added to the effect. The labyrinthian walk to the bowels of the earth to use the toilets through hordes of feral children was what most scared me, what if i never made it out alive? Rubbish beer at extortionate prices, the food is simply service station gone wrong but, if you are insane or unfortunate enough to stay in Trecco bay you may be able to catch an hour outside without having to entertain your kids.
For myself, the only valid reason to return there is to douse the entrance in petrol late at night and burn the place to the ground.

This is not so much a pub as a kindergarten with beer. It reminded me of what a Wild west saloon would look like if it had used electricity. If you have a body odour problem, this is definitely the place for you.
